New School Portrait ("we", "us") provides school portrait photography, the optional My Kid's Little Movie video, and related services to schools and families in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to newschoolportrait.com, pictureday.newschoolportrait.com, our advertising forms (including LinkedIn and Facebook lead forms) and our picture day services.

Information we collect

• School contact requests: name, role, school name and type, state, email, phone number, approximate number of students and any message you send us through our forms or ad lead forms.
• Picture day information: student names, grade/class and school, provided by the school, used only to organize photos and deliver orders.
• Photos and videos: portraits taken on picture day and, only for students whose families order it, the My Kid's Little Movie clip.
• Orders and payments: parent name, contact details and order details. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Website usage: basic analytics and advertising measurement through Vercel Analytics, the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag (pages visited, device and browser type, and whether a form was submitted).

How we use information

• To respond to school inquiries, send dates, packages and sample videos, and schedule calls.
• To photograph students, process and deliver orders, and provide customer support.
• To pay schools their share of sales and provide school benefits such as staff I.D. cards and class pictures.
• To measure and improve our website and advertising.

Children's photos and information

Student photos and videos are used only to provide our services to the school and the student's family. We do not sell them and we do not use any child's image in our marketing without written permission from a parent or guardian. Photo galleries are shared only with the family and, where agreed, the school.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate (for example hosting, payment processing, photo labs, email and advertising platforms), with the school as part of the picture day program, or when required by law.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, for legal and accounting requirements, or for reprints requested by families. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it.

Your choices

• You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time.
• You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email or by contacting us.
• You can limit ad tracking through your browser, device, Meta and LinkedIn ad settings.
